Man. My work network is touchy. Something about the comments on my last post got part of my LJ banned:

You're seeing this page because the website you tried to access may be hosting viruses or other malicious software. This site is blocked to protect your computer and the [company] network.

I'm assuming it's mention of m-o-d-s -- changes to a game. Not even a link to them or detailed talk about what they do, just that they exist.

At least my whole LJ isn't blocked. At least LJ as a whole isn't. ...hopefully I'm not speaking too soon.

Edit: kelen: I got the email that you commented, but I won't be able to reply until I'm home. :P And it was banned after my comment, so it's not based on the new info in your latest one, so no worries on that.

Yeah, LJ has been blocked on my work network for a while now. Fortunately, we have a guest wireless for patients that I use with my phone and laptop...

Ugh! What a pain it would be if work blocked it all. I can use customer/guest access on my phone too, but that's way too small for me to read on.

My work also blocked the comments on your last post, claiming that they had to do with sexual content. I don't even know. But I wasn't about to go to IT and say "hey can you unblock this page so I can read about a farming sim video game?" ;p

Bwahaha sexual content? I guess something is happening in LJ as a whole that brought us to some kind of a threshold, then a word or two is enough to push us over the virus/sexual line. Hopefully it'll get straightened out before the whole domain gets blocked.
