Mr. Owl, how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

I've caught glimpses of the owl before, but never as close/well as this!

Also: I HATE wine day. It may be good money, but ugh. So much clicking! I have about 175 kegs, and 40 of the kind for veggies, which keeps me from having to sell my produce "raw", but man. I dread having to deal with all that wine!

Related to owls and things that come in the night: The witch finally* visited me, so I got a void egg! Now I have chickens again, cause black ones are fun. (She actually came my second or third day of playing, but of course I had no chicken coop then...)

While I don't have fun in the dungeon anymore, I made another trip today to try to get the second prism shard I need. I was out of bombs, out of food, so on my final floor, and was just clearing all the rocks since I had the energy to do so. I got one from a rock! YAY!

I don't think that's the end of my dungeon trips though. I need 12 more items for my museum, and I think some of them come from the mines. (I had thought I only needed two more items, but then I discovered there's a mini-room in the museum. Sigh!)

I passed it on my first try, which I was confident wouldn't happen. I think the wiki's numbers must be way off. I thought I would have to finish my bundles and do lots of friendship work to get for candles lit, but I got all four on day one... Guess they nerfed it at some point. I was kind of sad about that, because I would have liked more to do in game.

So the last things I have left to do in game:
Catch one fish (summer, it's spring now). Not even a rare one, just common one I had missed.
Finish the museum? I guess that's reason to keep going, even if it seems like it'll be a pain.

In the 1.1 update, Shane is going to be able to be married, and there's no word of divorces, so I might be starting a second farm. I really cannot recommend Sebastian as a husband. He wants to lay around at home all day and read comic books. GET A JOB, YOU BUM

GOOD LORD THAT IS A LOT OF KEGS. I got three candles my first go at that event, but given how freaked out people were by that event I was happy with that, since I took it really slowly. I'm glad about the nerf, because daaaamn, the whole point of the game is that you're supposed to have gone to the farm to get away from stress, how is it away from stress if you have to hurry to complete a checklist?

I wasn't even married by then, because I was waiting for it to rain and Abigail to be in the graveyard so I could propose to her IN THE PERFECT EMO SPOT.

Hahaha that's the perfect spot for you two, yes! I'm actually not sure if I have too many kegs or not. I think people JUST do ancient fruit, and it makes them rich, and you're pretty much limited to doing a greenhouse full of them. But I had hundreds of berries from farming and gathering wild ones, so I just kept making them...

I was expecting three as well, based on the point count in the info on the wiki page -- I shouldn't have been close to four! Ah well, at least I was able to completely and totally stop talking to people and giving them gifts. I'M SUCH A BAD NEIGHBOR, JUST LIKE IN REAL LIFE! :P

oh my god WHAT IS ALL THAT?!?!?!! LOLOLOL my farm is a JOKE compared to yours. I just finished my first year and I only have a little patch of land. I'm a lazy farmer, I guess. Though I did just figure out how to build the better sprinkler system so that means I don't have to water the plants every morning, which took FOR-EV-ER!.

And I still don't have a partner yet. I'm awful at reading the characters to know what they like. And I think the girl Clint likes has a crush on me since I gave her the gift on Clint's behalf...sigh.

I did get a pony though!

The good part about this game is that there's no wrong way to play. If you don't want a big farm, you don't have to! And my farm is mostly the kegs, I have just a few patches of crops growing. There's some way to take an overhead screenshot of your whole farm, I'll try to figure out how so I can show you.

The sprinklers are SO handy! The improved ones are great -- once you water the seeds once, you never have to water them again!

Actually, the game gives you very very few in-game clues as to what people like. I used the wiki to look it up.

I was telling Thistle the other day, I have really been enjoying seeing how different people play, and I love hearing about it. Like she did not like dealing with the animals or people at all, and I LOVE THAT SHIT, I love checking on my animals every day and EVERYONE MUST LOVE ME.

She is always a money making machine in all games, THISTLE YOU ARE ALL ABOUT EFFICIENT DOMINATION OF THE WORLD ECONOMY AND I LOVE IT whenever someone whined about your Auction House domination in Wow it made me proud to know you.

If only I were the same in real life as I were in games. :P

I so loved when people whined at me too! So amusing. Unfortunately no one knows what I can do in FFXIV -- your name is hidden on the AH, and I have so much money I just can't tell others, cause they'd want me to buy houses (most expensive things in the game by far) for them...

I love seeing what others focus on in SV, too! And that there are so many different options.

I'm assuming this is an online game? Or not? The graphics look very...retro? It makes me think of the legend of Zelda (which totally kicked ass, by the way...)

Nope not online! You can get it through Steam. Unfortunately the graphics are the big big downside to me, but I've played this game for hours a day, most days, for like two months now, so everything else is working for me. :) It's like an Animal Crossing/Harvest Moon kind of game.
