What horrible Edward Gorey Death will you die?

What a busy day! But a good day nonetheless. (I like that word. Nonetheless. One word in three, without even hyphenation!) Had a literal ton of QA work to do (because remember, our *software making company* has no QA department), and Mr. Cow Orker was out today so I had all the support crap to do, but it was still a pretty great day! How odd is that? (I guess that's what actually sleeping at night will do for you! And a vacation next week, too!)

I'm GMing this weekend, and still need to figure a chunk of stuff out for it... or do I? That's an old habit: Whenever I used to GM, I wanted everything set in stone beforehand (or as much as possible), then I was GMing so much I got tired of the pre-work and so just started winging it, now that works best. Some of my best ONSes and such have had zero planning beforehand.

All day it's felt like Friday. Sucky that it isn't, but hey! That's okay, too!

I need to hit Google when I have a moment or three free. I think it's normal to shake when you're really, really hungry, right? I missed most of my breakfast (came in an hour early and was too busy to eat), and didn't go to lunch until two hours later than usual, so it wasn't until about 2 PM that I ate for the first time today. That, combined with my sudden manic energy/mood made for a tough time. I had to go buy eyedrops (and a sandwich) at lunchtime, and my hands were shaking so much I could hardly get money out of my wallet! A little worrisome.

I'd make such a bad mother! I brought my sandwich home to eat it, and though my little cat isn't supposed to eat anything but her chicken-based dry cat food, I shared my roast beef with her. I do this whole "food = love" thing in my head. She's already a fat little cat, she doesn't need more weight (or potential problems from non-chicken food). But she sits there so cute and murrs at me... (and I used to do dog training, so I know I'm setting up this begging myself, but... I love her! She deserves yummy food, too.) Bah, I suck, but I do it out of love! (And how bad does that sound?)

The only time I've heard of that symptom were in two different people I know who have hypoglycemia. No, it is not normal. Well, it's normal for people with hypoglycemia. :) What it really means is that you really, *really* need to eat regular meals, and not skip meals.

Oh well poo! Silly me, I'll have to not do that again.

Speaking of meals, I got another of those coupons to Black Angus. (This one is for two steak dinners instead of two prime ribs, but I believe the price is the same.) I was thinking we could use it for lunch/dinner on whatever weekend we go to the craft place? Sometime after you're done moving?

That would be very cool. :)

I know you'll brush this off, but you really need to see a doctor. Hypoglycemia isn't a disease, it's a symptom. If you're suffering from it (which it sounds like you are from your symptoms), there's something else wrong with you. Blood sugar problems like hypoglycemia can even be a precursor to diabetes, so it can be pretty serious.

Ugh, I was worried about something like that. And it will shock and amaze people, but I am thinking of getting to a doctor (sooner or later). Really!
