String music + Mad Max + ballroom dancing = this video

This is really great to watch. Pretty music, great costumes, wonderful dancing, and a Mad Max-like setting.

A comment elsewhere suggested that this was filmed at Burning Man, and all the extras supplied their own costumes. I'd believe that.

Looks like it was shot at Thunderdome in Nevada, which is a Mad Max get together that's held every year. Everyone goes in Mad Max gear and persona, so like the SCA, but Mad Max. One of my friends here flew over with his girlfriend and ended up on TV for a spot about "things fans do that non-fans find very strange."

He made those. He makes just about everything. The most impressive of his costumes that he's done is a lifesize Groot that he walks around in.

I loved that part! I wish it had been longer. Heck, I wish the whole thing had been a lot longer, like each of those dances were full length numbers.
