Growl. Of course Clay did not win. I'm getting really, really pissed at these shows where peoples' opinions count towards the results. People are damned idiots, so of course they pick the wrong damned choice. I feel like I wasted however many weeks this stupid show has been on.

If the shows don't conform to the opinions of the masses, then the masses don't watch the show. American Idol is at the mercy of teenage girls across the nation. It does not care for the opinions of somebody with an IQ level higher than 40. If your guy had won American Idol, you'd be happy, but millions (and I'm not exaggerating) would be disappointed. That means less people watch the next season.

American Idol is here to make money. It is not here to support an up and coming singer so he can live his dream, nor to make people happy. They want people to watch so people will see ads so people will spend. Keep that in mind next time you watch something like American Idol on TV; if they -don't- go in the way of the masses, they're morons.
