Anyway.

While there was a really short fanfic on kuruma's site (the one about naming your kids after Jecht) that I liked, I can't read most fanfics. I tried reading a number of them on fanfic.net, but as soon as each story seemed to go off-character, I had to give up on it. The thing is, I can't even blame the writers; Auron got quite a bit of screen-time, yes, but the Auron of ten years ago? Hardly any. And either old or older Jecht? Same thing, not much. However, I have a firm feeling on how each of the characters is, so when a story wanders away from that it ruins the "magic" for me.

I'm half-looking for a FFX MU* to check out/explore/join, but I'm afraid of finding the same thing. What if one of the important FCs are (in my opinion) off-character? It'd make me twitch and want to correct them, but as far as I know it's not "polite" to correct FCs.

I was actually intending not to read any FFX MUSH (MUCK/MUX/whatever) RP logs, but I stumbled across one over the weekend that didn't make me twitch. Wish I had bookmarked it before the carpet people turned the power off to my computer by mistake... It was a J/A/B scene, but it seemed like there were maybe only two players RPing; the paragraph format of the RPing was foreign to me, so it was hard to tell who was emitting what. It was cute though, it had Auron and Jecht somehow falling asleep against each other on a hill.

(I corrected the grammar in those two. I'm a bit of a Grammar Nazi -- another concern I have about looking for a FFX MUSH. How many MU*s of any theme actually enforce a standard of typing/grammar? I'm afraid I run one and quit the other. Could there be more than two?)

It's not FFX only, but the FFX cast are a bunch of really cool RPers. ^___^ And... is this the scene you were talking about?? The falling asleep against each other bit sparked my attention. ^^; If not, here's some reading material.

Ah! That's it, yes! I'm disappointed to see there wasn't much more left that I hadn't gotten to read. And woo, I was right! It did seem like the two of them were being played by one person. The both of you are darned good!

I'm very un-used to seeing "faces" -.-;; >> n.n in the middle of poses (they're 100% verboten ICly where I play), but the RP aside from them was great!

Do you know if either Black Gate or FFXMux have log pages up? I'd love to read more!

I have a logs page for Auron@BlackGate.... Erm. Heh, it's my first time playing him anywhere on a serious basis, so he varies from IC to mildly OOC @.@ I'm getting better tho! (I need to update this page. It's only got 22 or so logs, and I have 60 in my folder!)

There are a few logs on the FFMux homepage, but they're all rather old... I need to clean up the log of Braska's wedding and the Blitzball game after so you can read that. ^_^ It was fun. (Jecht got -dressed up-! Ph34r.)

And the faces in the poses usually only show up when we're not in a really serious RP. The more serious it is, the less faces show up, usually. ^_^; We're not strict about the facething.

Yay yay! A good way to kill the last hour and a half till work (I almost never dare RPing at work; if a call comes in, I have to idle for too long). Off I go to read!
