I think it's a good idea to share this post, especially if you have a paid account.

This comment someone left basically sums up my feelings on all this:
"I remember when paid users used to recieve superior service for their money... Ahh, those were the days."

LJ not working has become an /expected/ thing; I'm surprised when it does work. How many people have gotten into the habit of either writing their posts elsewhere or saving them before hitting 'submit', because more than half the time you get a 404 page instead of it actually posting? I personally never hit 'submit' without copying my post into the clipboard.

It's a sad thing.

(It's failed to post five times so far. Trying again! Edited to add: One of the earlier ones went through, even though it reported a 404.)

Very strange...I sometimes wonder if I'm the only one that doesn't have problems with LJ. I don't mean I don't have problems with the service, that I'm okay with it being crappy...I mean I literally don't have problems. I've had trouble posting one comment recently, and that was it.

Maybe you're actually on the mythical "paid user fast servers" and the rest of us aren't, even though we paid...

Yeah. Or maybe I'm on a different cluster that isn't having the same problems. Hopefully the LJ Maintenance post today was right, though, and the problems will be cleared up shortly for everyone.
