thistlechaserCatlove is down (AGAIN). It's been down for the last five hours or so. If I've not replied to email or comments, that's why. If links to images in this LJ aren't working, that's why. If I strangle someone, that's why.
My current hosting company bought my old hosting company (servers and customers included), and we've been having trouble since then. This new company says:
We are aware of this problem and are persuing it at this moment. What you are experiencing is DNS failure due to poor server configuration on the part of Netluxe when your account was originally created...
I wish I knew enough to know if that's a reasonable excuse, and if so how long it should take them to fix... I mean, to me it seems like since they apparently know what the problem is, they should just fix it. (Figuring out the problem is the hard part, right?) And yet we've had 10-15 hours of downtime a day for almost a week now...
Bah.
