As I was starving this morning (had only waffles yesterday, and that was before 8 AM -- don't ask why I was up that early on the weekend), I broke my promise to myself and got breakfast at McDonalds. Not only does their food have nearly a whole day's worth of fat and calories, it tends to make me really sick to my stomach, so I vowed to avoid it. But since I was so hungry, it was get "real" food there or have a really unhappy Monday morning, so I got it. (McDonald's egg sandwiches are more "real" (solid and resembling a meal) than a protein bar or cereal.) Happily I'm now both full and not feeling sick at all. *Plus* I have one of their mega-large Diet Cokes, which is almost better than food.

So on top of not having to gnaw on my co-workers, we have men here installing more cubes. One has a shaved head and looks like a biker (mmmmmeeeow!), and the other is this younger kid (well, okay, late teens -- but that's like a kid!) probably at least partially Hispanic, black hair, baseball cap on backwards. Mmm. And I get a nice view of the older one telling the kid what to do as they work on all this construction stuff.

I've fallen back into my habit of remembering my dreams every night, which is pretty cool as I keep dreaming I'm in whatever anime I'm currently watching. For the last three nights I've been in the Naruto world, interacting with the characters, walking around the places, etc. So cool! Last night I was in the "arena" where the prelim battles (between the second and third tests) were taking place. One battle had just ended and all the people were on break and wandering down off the upper viewing area. It was so cool to see all these characters "in person", talking and interacting with each other and being live, real people instead of just animated characters. Eeee! :)

We had seriously thick fog this morning, which was pretty cool (especially as I didn't have to drive far). So thick I couldn't see more than two car lengths ahead of me! It was almost like driving blind. Everything was so beautiful, even basic things like trees, people, and other cars. If it didn't make for bad accidents, I'd love thick fog like this more often.

Would you believe that the LJ spellchecker does not like the word "backwards"? Sheesh.
