Sunday Morning: The Good and The Bad

First thing I do when I sit down to the computer in the morning is check my email. As most of it is usually LJ comment foo, a couple emails from a "}T{Reme [Q_G] applsapff" were enough to catch my attention.
I suppose I should have just discounted email from someone with so many symbols in their name, but I opened it and read it anyway. "You banned me from the Whistle Bit Torrent! I should curse your name! Flood your email box with more spam than your ISP could handle!" ... then many paragraphs of nonsense later "I'm missing these two eps. Send them to me." HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. An idiot *threatens* me, then wants me to do something for her? Not. The amusing part is that she wasn't banned; no one has ever been banned on any torrent I've set up. So, yeah. Idiot kids.
I do wonder how she got my Catlove address though. Hm, Googling "whistle bit torrent" does list my LJ, though some random post instead of one of the ones announcing the torrents.
Unrelated: When using "Google" as a verb, I feel like it should be in lower case. Hm, it probably should be, since it's not a proper noun anymore, right?

Hee! Can I have two OTPs? I mean, each theme could really have an OTP, right? Right?
#1: Zabuza/Haku (no surprise there) - Naruto theme. In talking withfealu_bryne about something totally unrelated last night, I realized more of my reasoning for liking this pairing. It's got a really twisted bit of non-con going on in it... even though the one being taken advantage of wants to be taken advantage of. So we have some twisted non-con, plus bigtime chan, plus angst out the wazoo, plus love that wants to go on even in the afterlife. Add on top of that that the pairing couldn't be more canon without actual penetration shown on the screen, and it becomes perfect!
#2: Inui/Kaidou (Prince of Tennis). I loveblessed_fire's reasoning for this being her OTP: "They get along well and Kaidou is a good bitch and obeys his Inui". Hee! I love grumpy guys. Dark, grumpy, surly, men-of-few-words types. That Kaidou has such a tough-guy front up, but inside he's so easily put off-balance and... really, that he obeys so well, just makes me giggle my head off. And that Inui is evil and would fully take advantage of that just makes my little toes curl. Heehee. Such a perfectly matched set! And again, tons of canon evidence of them really being a pairing.
I ♥ anime for things just like that: Canon pairings! No need to search between the lines and squint a lot to see evidence of guy/guy stuff. Mmm.

Biker Boyz was ... not a good movie, at least if you wanted anything even approaching realism at all. However, if you were willing to turn your brain off and attempt not to listen to the dialogue, it wasn't too too bad. I might even watch it again, if I were bored out of my mind.
Besides the bad acting, awful dialogue, and utterly unbelievable motorcycle foo (a 200 MPH race on a FARM ROAD! They have holes and stones and tons of bumps! Arg.), there was something that really bothered me about this movie: If it hadn't been made by black people and for black people, it would be the most racist thing I've ever seen. Such horrible stereotypes in it! Cliches! If I were black, I'd be muchly ashamed at it. Heck, I'm not and I'm still ashamed...
Ah well, you can still enjoy it for muscular bikers in leather lounging around. Just don't wonder why a black biker gang has Japanese writing on their gang jackets. And yes, the gang's name was "Biker Boyz" -- how "original" is that? Heh.
