Trigun (anime)
Jun. 27th, 2004 12:55 pmOh my god. How could a series which started out so stupid silly get so serious? Jaw-droppingly serious? Wolfwood! Gah! Gah! Nooo! And Vash! Poor Vash! So much happens to him, and yet still he tries to smile for everyone. How the hell can he do it?
It's amazing, I've only seen six or seven eps, and yet I got totally hooked into the characters. When the two girls brought Vash to a town to recover from being shot a lot, and then the townfolks found out who Vash was and reacted to it? I just wanted to cry at what they did to him! (Though the series isn't new, I'm attempting to be vague and not spoil.)
It's odd, but it's almost painful to watch. He's such a good guy, but so much bad stuff happens to and around him! And yet he somehow just keeps on going on... but now and then you see the pain inside him. Aie! (In one of the eps I watched this morning, he screamed. The scream alone made something inside me curl up and want to die -- there was just so much pain in it! His VA is an amazing, amazing actor.)
