Why I'm having a terribly busy work day when I had only an hour and change of sleep last night is beyond me. No time for a real post, I haven't even gotten through my flist from overnight yet! (And it's 10 AM! That's unheard of!)

Since it never gets cold in CA, I found a place to display the Slytherin scarf. http://www.hot-hot-hot-catlove.com/scarf4.jpg I love how it makes the Slytherin crests just pop out and stand out so much more than the other house crests!

I hate it when my dreams too clearly try to tell me things. In the itsy bitsy bit of sleep I got last night, I had a dream that my workplace was located in Disney World. Think it's hard to go to work in an office? How hard was it to stay at my desk when there were parades and fun and rides and laughing people just outside the door? So finally I said 'fuck it' and left my job to go have fun; I decided that having fun in your life was more important than having a steady/stable job.

The other half of the dream was thanks to a certain LJ friend who told of hiking up a mountain this weekend. I had two dogs, one was my wonderful poor dead Jimmie (we thought she was a boy at first, so named her Jimmy, many years later she died of cancer). The other was a fictional dog. We had great fun actually going outside (nearly unheard of in my waking life!) and just walking up a mountain and playing in fields and such.

Yes, brain, I get the message: You want me to stop stressing, stop being uptight, stop hiding, and have fun. Tell you what, I'll go have fun and you earn the money to pay the rent, okay? It's a deal.

Just a quick public service announcement:

If you're like me and hatehatehate when a person's personal LJ style flows over into comments and such, you can get rid of them!

Adding that to the end of any LJ URL will force it into your style. In my case, it makes the colors clean and plain, and it thwarts those people who insist upon overriding the text-size-choosing-option in IE. (Grr! Why would anyone DO that? Are you trying to keep people from reading your LJ? Let people pick their own font sizes! Grrr!)

One little note: I think that if there is a ? in the URL already, a second one will not be recognized/acknowledged.
