Level Up is amusing me endlessly. (I snicker or giggle out loud at nearly every strip, and even when I don't laugh I'm grinning or nodding in agreement.)

The star is an young magely Mithra (one of her goals is to "catch and eat one of every fish", plus she has a rather disturbing fixation on Galkas in subligars c.c ), and the strip follows her leveling various jobs.

The above link is to the latest comic strip, which totally hooked me on the whole series. :D Naked mithra and yagudo ftw!

I'm reading it backwards for some unknown reason, but it's working fine that way.

The strip isn't totally about FFXI, but mostly is (out of the 15 or so I've read, only one has been non-FFXI).

The art is oh so yummy and perfect!

So go and read and be amused! Oh, and you can get a feed for your flist here [livejournal.com profile] gdtangentfans.

Edit: *giggle* She's even mathly challenged, like me!

Party: Thistle, what's your tnl?
Thistle: *peers at numbers and counts on fingers* Um, math is hard... ; ;

EDIT 2: *peers* Holy cow, it is based on Midgar! I recognized a name before, but now I just read about Tsen! Mithra MNK! (In this strip.) Cool!

Edit3: *snickers loud enough to get glances from co-workers* The secret of worms... Teehee.

Short post, because it's late. Zzzz.

The goal for the weekend: Level BLM from 26 -> 30. Four whole levels (I was only 58 XP into 26).

I did it in one night. Amazing. Other than that I was playing a job I hate, I've never had XP this good. (Wait, that sentence doesn't even make sense!) I've never even seen numbers like this before. Even with the band (which this was).

In the first party (Jungle party, with a PL) we must have been getting about 8K an hour. Amazing! Second party was slower but still good. (And had another PLer.)

Oh, the difference a comma makes!

And if any NINs are missing it, you know who to go to find out where it is:

Oh heck, I meant to blur out his name. Drat. Oh well, he was a good guy, no matter that he's grammatically challenged.

And lastly, it's amusing to see that "orz" has made it around the world:

--

Woman and I are going key hunting on Wednesday evening, hopefully in GC if we can get two more bodies to help with the switch (and killing things, if possible? So I can go as RDM and look for coffers, since I'll be behind the gates?).

Yay being able to go back to leveling RDM tomorrow! My subjob won't be gimped till 62! Yay!

Edit: There we go. I wanted to make the images a little smaller, so I blurred his name at the same time. Now, to bed with me! Zzz
