lol i post 2 much (Animal Crossing)
Jan. 27th, 2006 11:31 amOddly, one of my favorite parts of the game is breeding and caring for my flowers. Who'd think that taking care of flowers would be a fun part of a video game? c.c
Thus far I had been planting randomly and just hoping for hybrid (and got two! A beautiful purple tulip and a pink cosmos!), but I want to put more effort into it, so I printed up a listing.
The info comes from here, but that's not a printing-friendly page, so I typed up the info:
Roses
red x red = red or black
red x white = red, white, or pink
red x yellow = red, yellow, or orange
white x white = white or purple
white x yellow = white or yellow
yellow x yellow = yellow
black x purple = black, purple, or blue
black (dried) + water with gold watering can = gold rose
Tulips
red x red = red or black
red x white = red, white, or pink
red x yellow = red, yellow, or purple
white x white = white
white x yellow = white or yellow
yellow x yellow = yellow or black
Pansies
red x red = red or purple
red x white = red or white
red x yellow = red, yellow, or orange
white x white = white or blue
white x yellow = white or yellow
yellow x yellow = yellow
Cosmos
red x red = red or black
red x white = red, white, or pink
red x yellow/sun = red, yellow/sun, or orange
white x white = white
white x yellow/sun = white or yellow/sun
yellow/sun x yellow/sun = yellow/sun
(Unlisted basic color x hybrid and hybrid x hybrid have been excluded because they do not yield new colors, just duplicates of the parent colors. For example, a pink rose crossed with a white rose will yield either pink or white roses.)
I had been letting weeds grow in my town (so I could grow clover and maybe get a 4-leaf clover from it), but I have no idea how many weeds you need to get clover and to get the golden watering can you need a perfect town... which means no weeds. c.c So I guess I'll get the can first, then go back to letting weeds have their way with me. Eh, with my town. (Ha ha, thistles are weeds so weeds having their way with me wouldn't even be hybrid crossing? Snerk.)
