Book #29 of 2015: Them (Remnants #3)

I'm this close to knocking this series' score down from a Liked to an Okay, just because of how darned short these books are. While they're YA books, they're about half the length of an average YA book, for no reason I can see (other than to stretch it out and make more money off the series). That annoys me.

As usual, anything I write about the plot at this point will be a spoiler, so putting it behind the cut.

( Spoilers for the series thus far. Book 3: An almost literal trip to hell for the characters! )

I'm a good way into book 4 already, I just hadn't had time to write about 3 until today.

Webcomic rec: Age of Mortality

My recs for webcomics are few and far between. For me to recommend something, both the art and the storyline have to hook me, and it's rare that one succeeds at both. I've only recommended two or three webcomics in the thirteen or so years I've been writing this blog, and this one is on par with those.

Age of Mortality is one of the few that hits every single note right for me.

I can't say enough good things about the art -- I spent so much time admiring each page.

The one small (yet painful!) downside is that it's still in progress. I want more more MORE pages right now!

There's so much I love about this comic, so many little details I enjoyed (even things like the choice of font!). I hope you all will enjoy it too.
