How typical is that? Right wing folks insulting people who don't believe what they do? To lie and make up "facts"? Bah. It's not even safe to watch TV anymore without getting annoyed.

People playing the new Pokemon games: Have you tried trading yet? Are you supposed to be able to trade with Gameboys? Or only Gameboy Advances? I hook my GB up to my GBA, but it won't recognize the connection... Very annoying.

I've rediscovered my hatred of all star-shaped pokemon. Misty is such a bitch to beat! I've tried three times now, leveling my team a few levels between each try, and still get my ass kicked. Grr.

Current team: Charmeleon, Spearow, Pikachu, Kadabra, Butterfree, Rattata. Kadabra is surprisingly strong; I've not used one on a regular basis before. (I'll need to get that trading issue fixed, so I can get the final evolution.)

I'm sort of surprised that I can still remember what is weak/strong to other things. Even when I feel like I don't know, I tend to guess correctly. I guess all that time I spent writing code wasn't totally wasted!

I watched FMA 50 this morning, but as it's the current ep, I won't say much to keep from spoiling people. Well, just one comment: What the hell? And notice that there was no preview for the next ep?

RL is blah. I'm in a bad cycle of sleep, so only get a couple hours (at very best) each night. Got three last night. As this is after a night of four hours and about two weeks of well under eight hours a night, I'm not feeling so hot.

I need to do something about eating, too. I'm going to look for some place that delivers pre-made meals for a week and see if that's an option. I can't cook and don't really want to, but I really need to do something along those lines... or eat out more, or something. I can't keep living on pizza, pasta, and peanut butter.

Walking is okay. I skipped Monday because I was tired, but I made myself go today. Oddly (or not), I got more tired from walking than I usually do. Plus I'm really, really hungry. Weight loss is going okay though; I'm still tending towards 1-2 pounds lost per week (though some weeks I have much bigger losses, like 5-7, and now and then I hover at one weight for a week or two). It's so slow though! But I try not to be impatient.
