thistlechaserAn annoying or uneventful afternoon, take your pick. There was a 6.0 earthquake down in central CA, but we hardly felt it up here (just a little shifting, no jolt or shaking). Earthquakes are odd (or maybe I am), I always feel dizzy (sort of motion sick) for a good half-hour after it happens. It's not nerves or anything (I find them interesting and exciting), so I don't know what causes it.
Boss decided not to show up today. So her grand total of working so far this week: Under 3 hours. I wish I had her life.
I was totally unsuccessful in finding some service that will deliver pre-made meals to where I live. Tons of them up in San Francisco and points north, but none down here. Sucks to be me.

Edit: This icon makes me want to watch Whistle! again. So many anime series that I want to re-watch, and yet I can't even keep up with the new stuff. (I have six subbed PoT eps to watch!) I need to quit my job or retire or something. I think I'm more disgruntled now than I've ever been before (which is saying something). Sometimes I think about quitting FFXI. Sometimes I think it's a source of more stress and annoyance than fun... but it has good points, too. Sometimes I think I ramble too much, so I will stop editing this post. Okay, one more edit: No, just cutting back on FFXI isn't an option. I do things all the way or not at all. I'm not good at that whole "middle ground" thing.
