Queer Guy update

Since I have nothing better to do with my Saturday, I'm into my third hour of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Apparently the group of gay guys changes -- in the three hours I've watched, only two of the five gay guys were in all three eps.

This is an improvement.

Neither of the two groups since the initial one have been quite as stereotypical. While one of the "flaming" guys (prancing, lisping) has been in all three, when the others are more subdued, it keeps him from acting out as much.

There's still way too much lisping in general though... Gay men can be masculine. Honest! I'd love to see an episode with five manly, muscular, deep-voiced gay guys trying to improve some straight guy. :)

Hello. Lost your email. Would you believe I nearly forgot to even send you the challenge? *sigh* Pot heads with the memory span of a fly should not run things.

Anyway, how does the pensieve challenge sound? A memory from a character during OotP, or slightly after, or slightly before. Right.

But maybe guys like that wouldn't want to be on the show.

I admit that I don't like depictions of caracterized stereotypes, either, but I think the *concept* of the show sounds cool. But, it may be as much *which* gay guys are signing up to be on the show as much as the staff who chooses them.

You know, I really hadn't thought of that... It really could be which gay guys were willing to do this sort of thing. Huh.
