Another SGA rec
Nov. 30th, 2005 11:48 amI've been slowly working through the stories posted on
sga_flashfic, and have come across so many good ones! Atlantis In Tatters by
ekaterinn (McKay/Sheppard, not rated but must not be more than PG) had me blinking back tears and prompted me to make another little rec post. (Heck, perhaps I should bring my rec page back to live and expand it to include SGA?)
Want a couple more short-ish good SGA fics?
The Education of Rodney McKay (McKay/Sheppard, McKay/Brown, R) is a great little hot-ish fic which had me grinning at the ending.
Hands-On Science (gen, sort of AU? Younger characters) One of those stories which amazes me by changing the characters (making them appear as kids) and yet keeping them so totally on-character. Another one which left me grinning at the end!
Free Day is the same sort of semi-AU (I'm not sure if "AU" is the correct term for these or not... it's set in the way distant future from canon), and is so totally touching and bittersweet.
So if you're looking for some SGA fics, especially short-ish ones (under 10,000 words, it seems) go check out the
sga_flashfic community!
