It's probably in a language other than English, with a font that is other than our Western English, which is not installed on your computer. That's what I *think* that is, anyway.

If the headers describing the content type get miscommunicated, it can happen like that, not a huge deal. Usually reloading fixes it.

Yeah, reloading fixed it, but after all the trouble (especially LJ-trouble-packed yesterday), it made me snicker. :)

I think we need an everything is ok alarm

I used to have this happen occasionally trying to load ESPN.com's NHL page (which is definitely in English). I think it's just a mis-load, or something.
