Kids, talk radio (RL)

thistlechaserI almost never listen to talk radio, but I wanted some noise while driving back from lunch so I turned it on. The topic was something about gay people and religion.
A woman here in California was telling about how she and her partner were raising four kids together, and that they're members of some church (Episcopalian, spelling?). The oldest kid was just old and media-aware enough to know that both the president and the governor of their state don't believe that their families should exist (two lesbian women raising kids together). So the kid asked his mother "Does God let Republicans into heaven?".
Just thinking about that made me laugh all the way back to work.
