The icon's idea is totally maidenjedi's, but I couldn't resist making a HP version. Also, I hate the word 'governor'. It always looks misspelled to me.

Edited to add: How totally cool is this? A project to illustrate every scene in book five. And to make the idea even better, every single picture I've looked at so far is outstanding. So many artists, so many different styles, amazing stuff!

Now, there's a candidate whose TV spots I'd sit still for.

And that illustration project is really neat; there's nothing I like better than side-by-side examples of different styles and concepts. I might do one myself... I just won't inflict it upon anyone.

I'm really loving seeing all the styles, too. And if you draw something, I hope you'll at least post it in your LJ!

It's way too late for it now, but it would be funny to try to really get his name entered. I know people have gotten their dogs in the running, I wonder if there's some rule that would prevent trying to get enough signatures to allow a fictional character to run...

I'd vote for him. (Well. If I were still a Californian that is... *looks wistfully back to last decade*)

Wonder if he'd run as a Democrat, Republican, Green Party, Libertarian, or Independent? (My money's on Independent. Somehow I can't see Snape toeing anybody's party line any more. *snicker*)

Wouldn't you just LOVE to see him in one of those candidate debates?

I think you're right with Independent, and you have his comments dead-on. Gods, that'd be funny to watch!
