thistlechaserYay COR static. Despite gilsellers following us all night, we went from 36 to halfway into 38 in less than three hours. Would have been an outstanding night, but the gilsellers really hurt us. Crawlers and then beetles were perfect for us, we were ripping through them with ease, but then the GSers would start voking /everything/ and there would be no mobs left for us. That they all kept dying didn't really make up for much.
Before static started I decided to invest in the darksteel hexagun +1. I had been using the NQ version and intending to switch to the AF gun (which, unlike most other AF1, is actually okay to use), but my racc needed another bump up so I grabbed it. (AF gun replaces darksteel hexagun if you use the NQ, but the HQ is better than AF1, so I can use it a good long time). I'm up to about +44 racc before food or COR rolls (and +5 marksmanship skill and 2 marksmanship merits, however all that adds in). For the first time, I was feeling mostly okay about my racc.
Next week is going to rock! Not just the start of AF, but I'll get to use quick draw! I'm betting it's going to change the job quite a bit; I'll be our only dispel'er and our second sleeper (WHM/BLM for the main one), plus we'll be adding roll #4 to the mix, so I'm expecting to be mighty busy. Our static is melee heavy (WHM, PLD, COR, THF, PUP, SAM), so I'll be acting as a psudo-mage.
Other than static, helped Mal with his WSNM (the tiger for Ground Strike). Met his RL brother (Ead model hume and a RDM). No one died even though our group was small and we had a RDM as the only healer.
Haven't touched goldsmithing since I'm waiting for beads to move. Two sold across the entire server in the last four days. c.c Hot&Cold is still meh, digging is good enough to keep my cash flow positive.
