My inner child is six years old!
Look what I can do! I can walk, I can run, I can
read! I like to do stuff, and there's a whole
big world out there to do it in. Just so long
as I can take my blankie and my Mommy and my
three best friends with me, of course.

This quiz is highly cute, and oh boy I wish I were 6 years old. That's before school (I believe?), and I could just stay home and play by myself. I don't remember those years (or much before college, but that's another story), but my mother always tells me about how I could entertain myself for hours with the simplest toys. I'd make up stories for all of them, and I was RPing before I even knew what role-play was!
My mother said that all through my childhood, I was happiest when either alone or with our pets (and naked, but again, that's another story). Funny how I've gotten back to that now. Part of me wants to ask if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I don't think it's either. It's a *me* thing. I live fine and dandy on my own -- heck, more than that, I live happier and more comfortably and less stressed on my own than if I had housemates or some other sort of shared space.
So, as when I was six, all I need are my pets and my stories and RP, and I'm pretty darned happy.

Life's not fair! It's never been fair, but while
adults might just accept that, I know
something's gotta change. And it's gonna
change, just as soon as I become an adult and
get some power of my own.

Date: 2003-09-10 09:37 pm (UTC)I want to hear the naked story! (Not because I'm a perv- more because I hate being naked, always DID hate being naked, and it'd be interesting to get another perspective.) And good for you for not worrying about whether it's a "good thing" or a "bad thing" about liking your own company best. Ever since reading this article about introverts I've been a lot less apologetic myself about how much time I need to myself.

Date: 2003-09-10 10:49 pm (UTC)Once I got old enough to understand that you can't really run around naked outside, I'm told I was better about staying dressed, but I still hated it.
Now that I'm an adult and living alone, I can run around naked almost all I want! So long as I'm home and I leave the blinds down... I just find it more comfortable. I don't like the feel of clothing (even comfortable materials) against my skin. I like feeling the air and drafts and all the little things.
