I finally finished the second live action Death Note movie, and I mostly enjoyed it a lot. Loved seeing it live action (seeing real people playing the characters was cool!), enjoyed most of the places it went off on its own plot-wise. Small thing I didn't like: In the anime, there was a rule that went something like "A human who writes in the Death Note will go to neither heaven nor hell... but no human goes there anyway". In the live action, they left off the "but no one goes there" part, which made it imply that there would be consequences for Light that there weren't in the anime.

So now I'm watching the third movie. Not quite halfway through it yet, but can't say I'm overly liking it so far. The bad guys seem rather over the top and not too believable. I'm not sure where they're going with the kid/L, but maybe that'll be interesting. (I'm also not sure I like this whole "network of letter people" thing either...)

But anyway! I decided to see if I could find some fanfic. Googled. First result:

Anyone have any Death Note recs? Google keeps wanting to point me to fanfiction.net, but I know better than that.
