thistlechaser | 17 button mouse: Failure

Going into this whole mouse thing, I thought that most of the buttons would be "unique". That is, the 1-12 number pad on the side would each be a new button, not a duplicate of 1-12 on my keyboard.

For a while I was confused. "What the heck happened to my buttons? Why are half of them not working anymore? Why is my character turning left when I'm on my rogue and try to throw?"

That turned out to be the issue though, the 1 button on my mouse is the same as the 1 above my letter keys on the keyboard. This is very not good.

Luckily it's a pretty mouse without using the extra buttons, but... $50 is a lot to pay for looks when it comes to a mouse.
