I'm watching the ABC hour long interview with Trump. Oh. My. God. He couldn't sound more insane and scary. He's actually getting worse. He's not surprising, but man is it scary.

Interviewer: "You said you'd do X, but X is against every international law and treaty."
Trump: "I don't care."

Semi, but not really, related, I started watching Homeland again. I stopped in season three, they killed off the character I liked best and so I didn't want to keep watching. Now, season six, it's pretty darned good! I might go back and either watch from the beginning again or just the seasons I haven't seen yet.

I'm not even going to get started on Trump. All of my followers on my social media accounts (I even dusted off my Daily Kos account to start posting there again) are surely sick of my constant screaming about this, argh.

But! Homeland! It's interesting that you're enjoying the season so far because I think it's been lousy, heh. This storyline with Quinn needs to be over like, last week. Last season was actually really good, though. Glad you're catching up. :D

Oh god, I thought maybe the Quinn thing wasn't working for me since I missed a few seasons. I thought people who watched them would have more of an emotional connection with him, so be happier with that storyline. (To me, he was just some fling who was into her for a while.)

I bet the show writers are kicking themselves though -- I'm sure the president in the show was supposed to be Hillery.

Well, I've never been all that crazy about Quinn, so take my comments with a grain of salt. He's okaaaaaaaay, I guess. But from reading comments on the Homeland Facebook page, I am definitely in the minority on that one.

People on the FB page also freaking out about the new president being Hillary-light. A lot of people are bitching about the show's "liberal agenda," since the president is a woman and especially since Carrie is now working to help a brown-skinned terrorist suspect instead of trying to frame him or some shit. But I have to tell you, depending on where things go this season they might just be happy with the president being Hillary-light, since if I'm reading the writing on the wall correctly, she's going to turn out to be a complete incompetent. :(

You know, I got that feeling about the president as well. I hope I'm wrong, but the thing with her son has me worried. (And, while I like Carrie, working with only her as an advisor doesn't seem that safe of a choice.)

I'm so tired of people claiming "liberal agenda" in shows. Just because a show does not cater to your personal beliefs, does not mean it has an agenda.
