The last frame caught my attention. Not because of the guy and the she-male, just Ban with the cute face and the cat-eyes. Awww. I'd turn it into a logo if it weren't for the subtitles blocking his face.
But of course, that's not the actual point. The fact that they let such gayness through on a public Japanese television show is scary...

If one didn't really know, they would have thought that it was a woman and a man (both of which are bathing in the same hot spring, but still) and that wouldn't have been too much of a problem. The fact that it's two men proposing...
And here I was thinking that Japan was homophobic. 8-)
And I really think the she-male is a gimmick to get more male viewers.

The monkeys were, in fact, violent! This was also the only ep of the whole series so far (27 eps) that I didn't like. It was silly and unrealistic, while the rest of the series was more along the lines of "darkly funny" and serious (theme-wise).

Bet hey, we got a marriage proposal, so even the "bad" ep isn't too awful!
