Strange burglar? Stranger cat? Strangest me?

Either someone broke into my apartment (without leaving a sign of that to the door) and did odd things in my apartment, or my cat has become a tool-user with a desire to mess with my head. The last option is that maybe I'm sabotaging myself in my sleep.

I'm blind as a bat, so the first thing I do when I open my eyes is reach for my glasses. When I did that this morning, they fell apart: both of the side metal arms/ear pieces fell off. They had been fine last night.

So holding my glasses in place, I stumbled into the bathroom only to find my toothbrush in the trash. (Toothbrush and trash basket are on opposite sides of the bathroom, and so it couldn't have just gotten knocked over and fell in.)

I thought that was the end of the oddness, then I noticed that most of the magnets I have stuck on my fridge were on the floor. (Lots are higher than the cat could reach, even on her best days. She's a little old lady and doesn't jump at all now.)

As far as I know, I don't have a history of sleepwalking. Hm, maybe my apartment is haunted...

I would strenuously disagree with your decision to strike out "Take high pride in oneself". I think you have that in spades.

Also, I think you're pretty impatient, too. :) And loyal.

Impatient I'm not sure about, I think it really depends on the case. Maybe I'm more impatient than not, could be.

Loyal is hard for me to judge. I don't talk about friends behind their backs, but I'm pretty quick to drop one if they turn on me...

"Take high pride in oneself" I have to disagree with you on. Honestly, I think I'm a pretty crappy person who has little to offer the world. I often (usually while PMS) think the world would be greatly improved if I were not here. (Note: That's not some suicide cry for help, it's more like an passive thing 'If I vanished right now, the world would be better', not 'Yeah! I got a gun and I'm going to blow my head off!') So we'll just have to disagree on that one. :)

I think you take high pride in yourself for your intelligence, your knowledge, your self-sufficiency, and your grammar. I think you also take a lot of pride in your work ethic and how good a job you do when you bend your mind to a task.

I think the difference is that I think you display pride, while you, having an internal view of yourself, have low self-esteem. I think we're looking at two different interpretations of the line. :)
