Grr! Snarl! Survivor! Gah! They voted off the only nice/honest/deserving person! (Yes, I know a lot of people on my flist won't be interested in this -- sorry.) He was the hardest worker, he was honest, he was *nice*, he was kind, he was deserving of both the win and the money, and all the dishonest crappy mean people voted him off! And he had been nice to animals and cried when one died, and he told the others about how he had been picked on in high school because he was fat (as he was in the beginning of the show as well, but lost a lot of weight). Meanie bad people! I hope sharks eat you all! Especially you, John. I'd happy stab you in the eye with a pen if I met you, you mean, two-faced, insulting, lying bastard!

Vacation is going better. No me-trouble since that one day. We've mostly been shopping for assorted things, playing card games, and such. We haven't driven far and wide as we usually do, since she had a touch of stomach illness so we didn't want to venture too far from a bathroom.
Bought FFX-2 today, but won't be able to play it until late tomorrow night. I'm not holding much hope that I'll like it too much (no speedy button-masher am I, not by a long long shot), and the three main characters are all girls (ugh, why no guys?), but we'll see.
Introduced mother to anime, both good (The Cat Returns, Spirited Away) and bad (Catsoup, which I reviewed here).
While she was in the shower one morning, I watched an ep of something I randomly downloaded. Ikkitousen. Surprisingly, it's one of those "panty shot" animes. I have no idea why I didn't think panty shot animes were... well, exactly that, but I guess that didn't make sense, so I figured it was something like cute girls standing around in panties. Not this at all:
