I'm makin' like

laurelwood and getting myself a seasonal icon. Of course hers are a lot cooler, but hey! Can you believe I'm up to 30 icons? I'm having so much fun making them!

...I'm starting to think I need to go back to work, just to get stuff to post about. My life is currently nice and mellow. Heck, "boring" would fit sometimes, but I'm fine with that! All I did all day yesterday and today was sit around and alternate between watching anime on the computer, crap on the TV, and playing video games. Heck, I'm even sleeping eight hours a night, every night! If only I could get paid for this... Back to work on Monday. Blech.

This week's HP100 challenge is the challenging "do Harry Potter as a fairy tale" ...in 100 words! Ack.

Once upon a time there were three little Hogwarts students who were fleeing their Potions professor.

They ran first to a house of straw. Inside was Neville and all his plants! But since it was too full, they moved on.

Next they came to a house of sticks, but inside was Filch! "Get out!" he growled, and so they did.

Last they came to a house of bricks, and hid inside. Big, bad Snape pounded on the door. "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your Harry now!"

Hermione called out, "Not till he has hair on his chinny-chin-chin!"

It was a real challenge, and for the first time I find myself wanting to say (whine) "But it was so much better before I had to cut it down to 100 words!". Sometimes (well, many times) I'm sorry I gave up the modding job, but I think it was the right decision. I didn't (don't) need another online job, but I like helping out and making things better for people. I wish I could feel that way at my paying job, since that's what I'm supposed to be doing there...
