New Group: Looks like fun!
Dec. 11th, 2003 10:26 pmThere's a new drabble-writing community starting, open to characters from any fandom at all.
I pondered character options for at least an hour, totally unable to decide. Finally I decided on something totally different: Ed from Lion King. I was looking for either a male biker character or an animal. My short list was Mrs Brisby, Scar, Si and/or Am (from Lady and the Tramp), Buck (from Call of the Wild)... as you can see, I didn't find any bikers.
Seeing how Ed doesn't talk (and I suspect doesn't think) and is quite literally dumber than dirt, he's going to be a challenge to write first-person, but I think it might be fun.
The group is open to literally any fandom, anime or TV or games or books or anything, so anyone on my flist who's interested in writing can go join up! For those who don't know, drabbles are really short stories -- usually 100 words, but this group is playing it as "150-250 words or longer if you so chose".

Hey! Quit drooling on me!
Date: 2003-12-12 06:08 pm (UTC)I'm actually kind of tempted to join the community myself. I'd just have a difficult time picking somebody, especially since he (or she, I guess, but all the most popular and fun-to-do cartoon characters that I can think of are male...) would probably be chosen or would be stupid, but maybe I'll give it some thought. Here's an idea: I'll sign up as The Pink Panther! Every single one of my posts will just be: *Pink Panther theme*.
