Did I say the M/M was subtle? Strike 'subtle'! (And kitty news.)

So I've been watching (and enjoying) Prince of Tennis, right? It's fun watching the guys be so friendly with each other, and pondering which ones go best together, etc. However, the M/M hints were really at least somewhat subtle... until tonight. One of the team members left the others, claiming to have to go work for his father. No one believed him, so they followed him to see where he was going.

While walking, the followers imagined what his date would look like (!!!). This is the only thought on it they had, I didn't just make a screenshot of one of their many options... So they followed and followed, and finally see who he's meeting. Their exclamation tells the whole story. Oh, and the ep's title was "Penal Tea" -- I get the pun of it (penalty; it was something they had to drink as a punishment), but... but... but... Maybe my mind is in the gutter, but there's only one thing I think of when I hear "penal"...

(Non-PoT fans can skip this paragraph.) The series took an interesting turn tonight. Akutsu was introduced. It was really surprising and somewhat disturbing to see real violence. Also, I was highly amused by Echizen's dream where a tennis ball came at him from nowhere and he hit it, and it bounced off every single one of his teammate's heads, and for some reason they all end up grinning at him because of it. Oh! And Fuji saying he liked the yucky drink, but he liked seeing people suffer more was the best line so far. I so love him.

Kitty news: She's still really, really lethargic from the anesthesia/stress. The vet and the vet techs all came by to tell me how much she growled while in the cage. Poor girl. She's sneezing a lot tonight (like two or three times in a half-hour). I hope that stops soon, I'm worried fluid got in somewhere it shouldn't have, or something...

*laughs* Good to hear! I wonder how that was handled in Japanese, if they had some other pun that made people think of penis, or if that's just a chance-translation thing and we just got "lucky" in English.

Oh, yeah. That was one nice ep, especially with the imagining of two guys I was really thinking, where did that come from? Especially since Taka is one of the characters with the least gay-potential, but apparantly sweet little Ryoma and co. can only imagine dates between two guys

That's good to hear. I'm always terribly worried whenever my cats get sick. They can't efficiently communicate how bad it is.
