By way of [livejournal.com profile] kirbyk:

RULES:
--If you have 1-5 people on your friends list, say something about the 3rd person.
--If you have 6-20 people on your friends list, say something about the 11th person.
--If you have 21-75 people on your friends list, say something about the 21st person.
--If you have 76-150 people on your friends list, say something about the 83rd person
--If you have 150+ people on your friends list, say something about the last one.
--If you are the third, eleventh or twenty first person on your list, choose the next person.
--If you read the answers, you are compelled to do this meme and post it on your LJ or a puppy will die

I have 149 folks, so here are my four nice things to say!

#3 [livejournal.com profile] aberdeen (who was [livejournal.com profile] kirbyk's third friend, too!) - [livejournal.com profile] aberdeen is a brave soul who lives and teaches up in Alaska. I always look forward to her posts and the glimpses they give into life up there.

#11 [livejournal.com profile] batratblue - If I could trade lives with someone, I would seriously consider [livejournal.com profile] batratblue (if only he didn't have such a tendency to hurt himself!). Part of the reason I moved to California was to meet and be closer to the GarouMUSH crew, [livejournal.com profile] batratblue included. He has experience in tons of areas, and helped me learn a lot of stuff -- little of which I've continued with, but all of which I still appreciate knowing.

#21 [livejournal.com profile] daltontrix - Hee, Dalton made his way onto this list! But what nice things could I say about him? ;) Okay, for serious: He's not only a great and wonderful MUSH staffer, he's a creative and interesting guy! He's dependable and smart enough that when he's logged onto the MUSH, I don't worry so much about it.

#83 [livejournal.com profile] milkthistle - My thistle-sib! (Or is it thistle-dinner?) Heh heh heh. [livejournal.com profile] milkthistle is the only person in the whole world that I ever wrote poetry to over and over and over again (Wooing/threatening poetry, no less!). She's oodles of fun and a good sport. :)

(Note: This meme said only that you have to say something about those numbered people, but I like it better as *nice* somethings. Use nice or not, as you please!)

Your drama or your life!

(Falls over, picks self up)

You do realize, of course, that the things you tend to hear are either (1) the ones I can make at least reasonably funny (the incident with the smuggled weapons, the breasts, and the cop at the Iron Maiden concert, say, or any of a dozen different insane things done in cars), or (2) the ones that are dramatically cool.

I tend to go on less about things like the time I had the side of my head bashed with a cinder block by a girl's jealous boyfriend and had to have the orbit of my left eye reconstructed. All that experience comes with some ugly mileage. You don't want my life. ;) No. Really. You don't.

Out of curiousity: What have you discarded or let go, and what have you continued with?

(Oopses and dusts ya off! No falling over on my watch.)

Eek! Gah, I cringe for you just reading that. Okay, how about if I just take the good/fun parts of your life? ;) Hee.

Out of curiousity: What have you discarded or let go, and what have you continued with?

Well, to be honest, I've not continued with either thing:

I wouldn't pick up a gun now if I had the chance -- I still worry over those having been real bullets we were using! And gods, if I made a mistake I could have *killed* someone! For me, that's way too high of a price for making a mistake for something that's supposed to be fun. Even if I didn't actually shoot anyone, if it went off near someone, I'd never forgive myself. I can do other things that are fun but have no chance of really hurting anyone. (This is just my opinion on it, if other people want to shoot and are careful about it, I don't have any issues with it.)

On the other thing, the thing we talked one night at Denny's(? or a place like that) and met the Pack about, I've not continued with for more indirect reasons. I've become more and more ... "anti-social" isn't exactly the right word, but sort of like that without the negative aspects. I don't want to see people, but it's not because I want everyone to DIE DIE DIE*, I just really want to be alone. So that doesn't really fit with the other stuff...

*Okay, sometimes I want everyone to DIE DIE DIE -- I do tech support, after all. But it's not a real serious wish.
