Shopping in my sleep. (PoT, Whistle!)

Sniff! Just three more Whistle! eps to watch. I haven't watched this week's Fullmetal Alchemist yet because I'm itching to see how Whistle! wraps up.



*sniff!* Our little boy is growing up! Everyone notices it. I especially liked the comment about how his back now appears larger.

I really love how everything I expect to happen (everything that would happen in a normal show) doesn't. When the J-League (the national team? Not sure if I got the name right) players had to pick their own captain, especially after he played so well, I expected it to be him -- but it's cool that he wasn't picked. There's really something almost noble about him being so good at playing and such a good person, but still being only a substitute who has to drag the bag of soccer balls off the field.



I can't wait to BT Whistle! so that more people can watch it. But hey! Remember that Fuwa is mine! Everyone else, keep your hot little fangirl hands off him!

I can't recall doing it, but apparently I bid on a TeniPuri pencil board because tonight I won it. I like pencil boards, so it's cool, I just don't remember bidding... (The top image on that auction always seems to be broken, but the lower one is fine.)

Alas, bedtime now. Hopefully I can get my car all straightened out tomorrow, then my life can go back to calm and boring again. I like calm and boring.

Because I am randomly curious, what is a pencil board exactly?

Well, that's a good question... I *assume* it's something Japanese kids put behind their paper so that their pencils (or pens) don't go through it... but it's really, really flimsy plastic, so it couldn't be used like a clipboard or something.

I just hang them on the walls and admire the art!

I thought it might amuse you to know that Fuwa is voiced by Kiyasu Kouhei, who also voices Kaidou. ^_~ I really, really like Fuwa too, but my favorite is Shige. Love him to death. Really though, I love them all. I really enjoyed watching Shou and Mizuno grow and change throughout the series, and I like several members of the rival teams as well. I just love this series so much.

Yay on the pencil board! I see you're contributing more to the TeniPuri mass merchandising machine. ^^

*laughs!* No way! Hee. I need to start paying more attention to VAs from now on! That's too funny, two of my favorite characters voiced by the same guy.

I like him a lot, too. He's probably my second favorite character in the show.
