Thistle_chaser in Tolerable Cruelty

In this non-stop kill-fest, thistle_chaser (Lucy Liu) is a shady police officer with a dislike for corn chips. She promises to silence daltontrix (Christopher Lloyd) before her former partner, fealu_bryne (Heather Graham), reaches him. Following a conversation that seems to justify all violence, she attempts a break-in at an underground castle. From there on in it gets messy. Winner of two Academy Awards, including Best Plot Alternative.

Since my kitty cat is old, I got her a heating pad for the winter. Whenever I'm home, I leave it on for her, and she never leaves it. Tonight I was so cold I snatched it for a half-hour and used it to warm my feet. Then I felt too guilty about that and gave it back to her. She was very happy to return to it.

Even if your cat isn't old, get them a heating pad. They'll love you for it!

My back's been hurting me all day. Well, it's sort of my back -- kind of on the back side of my ribs, if that makes sense. Like if you follow the curve of your ribs around from the front to your spine. It's like halfway between under my arm and my spine. Doesn't feel like my back exactly, but I suppose it is.

There now, a whole paragraph trying to describe where my back hurts. Can you tell I just feel like talking to someone tonight? Oh well, I'll save you all from any more of my verbal meanderings.

My favorites: Child's Pay, In My Country, What Are We Teaching Our Children?, and Hood Robbin'. And while I snickered and laughed at a lot of these, they made me really sad as well. What in the world will happen to the country if he gets elected again? Sigh...

You know, the Republican National Committe is actually defaming moveon.org for having these ads because two of the submissions (that didn't make it past the initial voting) compared Bush to Hitler. The RNC is accusing the site and moveon.org of lying and various other shady practices.

Just a drive by to say: I have an old cat. Her name is Thistle. Heh. I'm going to get her a heating pad. I love that idea, especially since the current temperature here is 3 F.
