How totally annoying. Since I had watched so much of the series, I wanted to see it through to the end. Ep by ep, I crawled towards the finish. Tonight I watched the last one... and I have no idea what the heck happened.

I wasn't paying close attention my first time watching it, so I forced myself to watch the last ten or so minutes again (mumble, I didn't want to watch them the first time!)... but I understood no more.

Did Robin die or not? Or was it unclear on purpose? Based on her dialog with Amon before the Factory came crumbling down, it sounded like they intended to live on? But of course it didn't show them getting out of the building. Michael's and what's her name's dialogue didn't clear anything up at all, it seemed like it was only there to make you question more.

If they made it unclear on purpose, I'm going to be annoyed. I wouldn't have forced myself through the whole thing if there was no conclusion! Mumble.

Stupid series. Why was your art so nice but your story so sucky? *delete*delete* Bye, bye, Witch Hunter Robin!

Edit to add: Man, I have no idea what the dialogue in Naruto 76 was saying, but I was eee'ing left and right and wanted to hug child!Gaara until he was all okay inside!

I can remember after everything exploded that there was a glimpse of her and Amon (no, that's not where my nick came from^_~) in a car or something like that. It was hinted I believe that he was staying with her more or less to keep an eye on her and her powers.

I thought the ending sucked as well though and have never spend any time diving in the fandom, if it exists, or pondering over it, so my memory is not that good on this series.

*laughs* Glad you mentioned that! ;)

That's what I thought as well. It's not like she'd need a keeper in the afterlife (unless I missed something big), so it seems as though they planned to live...

Heehee, that seems to be what everyone says! I liked a bit of the middle part and went looking for the fandom at that time, but I ended up finding nothing and scratching my head over that. Now I understand! Fans are too smart to fawn over this thing. :p

Thanks!

I liked the middle the most as well. Her being someone who brings packages around on a bicycle was quite original and fun. But the problem I had with this series was that some of the characters were hardly fleshed out (like that guy who broke his leg) and I didn't know enough about Amon to care much either.

The set-up for this story was interesting enough for me to continue watching it, thinking the ending would explain everything. But what I know from it was that everyone turned traitor then (the females at least ^_~) and for one of them I didn't really understand what she was doing/thought it was lame.

have to say that now that I am typing all this, I'm surprised at how little I can remember since it was only about a year ago that I watched it ^_^;

Agreed, especially on the characterization (or lack thereof). There was such a small group of them (Amon, Robin, two other girls, one guy, and Michael), I see no reason why they couldn't flesh out them all.

Oh, and I remember another part that bugged me! (Heh.) I thought they expanded Michael's hacking abilities way too much in the end. The whole elevator thing and being a spy in the Factory seemed like it should have been rather different from hacking computers...

Oh well! Now I just have to try to forget that I ever watched this mess of a series! ;)

Heh, just like me^_~.

Yeah, it was not like the cast was that big, I think if they had spend some time fleshing them out, I would have loved this series.

Characterization is most important to me in an anime. Just look at PoT; the stories are sometimes very weak (the bear-ep anyone?) but a lot of time is spend fleshing all of the out.

(the bear-ep anyone?)

Yet another thing I'm trying to scrub out of my memory!

Exactly. I need a connection with the characters to enjoy the series. Otherwise, what's the point?

I'm surprised you really watch raws. It seems like it'd be frustrating. You can't wait another few days? :P Heh I was just going to rant about ep 75 since I saw it last night. OMG PLEASE FINISH THE HOKAGE SCENE. and Gaara is frick'n SCARY! But I guess I'll see soon enough! Heh I wanted to hug Gaara too until I saw ep 75...someone else can hug him ^_^;;

Mostly I don't watch raws, just for PoT and Naruto. :)
