snowcalico (and anyone else interested), I got a copy of a video called This Is Otakudom. It's a fanmade video thing based on the Otakon con (I think? A Baltimore-based one), and it's really well made. And long! 52+ minutes. (I was expecting a music video, I couldn't figure out why it was taking so long to download!) Even though I suspect I missed many of the jokes, it amused me lots. More experienced fan-types would probably find it a lot funnier. (It's like an AMV in that it's done with all anime clips, but it covers pre-con planning, travel, con foo, and post-con stuff.)

Have you seen it? Do you want it? ('you' being

snowcalico or you, of you're not

snowcalico!) Do you still have a sucky net connection? ('you' being just

snowcalico in this case). It's pretty big (257,000+ Kb), but I can either BT it or you can FTP it (if you have an okay connection).

Eh. Since I have 5 gig of bandwidth to burn by the end of the month on Catlove, I was going to stick it there for FTPing. Then I saw that it'd take almost three hours to upload! Blech. If anyone is interested, leave a comment and I'll move it there.
