Monday, Monday

I can never, ever sleep Sunday nights. Never. I roll over and roll over and (this week) coughed lots (still not healthy yet), all dreading work.

Bah.

Work is even worse when you only have four hours of sleep.

Next week I'll be on vacation, and I'm going to play FFXI from dawn to midnight every day. However, unlike this weekend, I'm going to try not to forget to eat. I'm very, very hungry... and co worker came in smelling like he was carrying freshly baked brownies! Gah! How could that be? So hungry, so hungry. Ate an apple, but it didn't do anything at all.

I can't believe I'm here at work instead of home killing goblins and stuff. I made 800 XP in under two hours last night! At that rate I'll make level 12 in *counts on fingers* six-ish hours! Then level 13 would take eight-ish hours of leveling! (Assuming solo the whole time... sometimes partying is better for XP, sometimes worse. At least for me, anyway.) Why am I wasting my time here? *sniff* Eight hours until I can go home...

I'm really, really liking playing a white mage... I just wish the Raise spell didn't seem like I'll never reach it (it's level 25). I can't imagine ever becoming level 25! That's, like, wow, so high! And there are people level 50 out there! That must be godlike or something... what in the world do you kill at that level? Level 50 people must cause sixteen dragons to all fall over at once just by yawning.

I'm trying to catch up on my friends list. 200 posts to read this morning. (Bah.) There were things I wanted to comment on, but they were a day or two old and had 20-30 comments already. I hate leaving a comment in a situation like that, because, well... so many people commented before me! What's the use of me commenting, too?

So in conclusion: Very hungry, very tired, very much not wanting to be at work. Typical Monday morning! :)

*laughs* 25 isn't so high. Once you get to 13 or so, head to the Dunes and join parties! Draque leveled from like 12 to 20 in a weekend of serious leveling in the Dunes. Just make sure to bring the spells you'll be getting soon! There's nothing worse than a WHM who isn't up to date on their healing magic. .. Well, okay, there's worse, but darnit, not a whole lot. :3

I need to get my RDM up to 25. :/ Whenever you hit 13, gimme a ring and I'll drag my WAR out to go with you to the dunes. :3 I'm a decent tank, especially if there's other 'vokers in the group to share the hate with. XD

What you'll learn is that while you get pretty mighty, the monsters tend to get even mightier a whole lot sooner than you do. ;)

If it's anything like Everquest, anyway. There're monsters on there that can make even the max level players fearful. ;)

Hee, that sounds about right! I had some time today, so I looked up some monster foo. There's some darned scary stuff out there! It's a wonder people ever leave the cities. ;)
