They said the FFXI upgrade would take 15 minutes (with a fast connection, which I have) to download, with a few minutes on either end to check and install. I started the upgrade process at 3 PM. It's currently 5:45 and it still has an hour to go.

4 hours =/= 15 minutes.

Bah.

And you of course realize that 15 minutes is only an estimate.

Well sure. If it took 10 minutes or 20 minutes, that'd be fine and dandy, but once you cross the hour line, you can't really call it an estimate anymore... or at least not do it without your fingers crossed behind your back.
