Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Shouldn't it be Half-Blood Prince? Compound adjective? (Plus, doesn't it look better as Half-Blood Prince?)

Either way, I like it tons better than the rumored Pillar of Storge one. *twitch*

I have no idea of the proper grammar for it.

I must be the only one who doesn't care about 'spoiling' a book title! :)

And I didn't *get* the Pillar of Storge name. I am sad and lame.

No worries on the spoilering thing! I was still 12 hours or so back in my flist when I made this post, and people were still cutting it at that point. By now I think it's fair game for not lj-cutting it.

I didn't get the name either, but I don't suppose that really matters. Some silly person just made it all up (and didn't even do a good job of it!).

The big question is: WHO is it? She's said it's not H or V, which makes things really interesting...

Yeah, I was wondering 'who' or even 'what' over on [livejournal.com profile] ebonlock's journal. :)

And I'm actually inclined to think it's neither H *nor* V, but someone else.

Yeah, it should. Without the hyphen, it conjurs up images of half a prince. Half a prince made of blood. Eww.

Yeah, it should be. I don't get the picture of half a blood prince, but I do wonder how you half the blood on one. Is that even possible?

Maybe the half-blood prince is Hagrid, if we want to do a 'shot in the dark' scenario. After all, isn't he a half-blooded giant? JKR wasn't specific on what lineage the prince is in her title.

Just a heads-up:

Tonight's the episode of The Jury with the jury made up of former Oz castmembers.

Also... I'm trying to avoid speculation threads because I worry that I'll get a pet theory about who this "Half Blood Prince" is, and then end up disappointed by reality.

But they keep calling to meeeee!

The Jury

Damned baseball was on! And all the nights' shows weren't on! Gods, I hate sports. How was it?

I'm totally not getting my comments notifications (I take it this is you, Thistle?, and that you run [livejournal.com profile] recsrainbow?)

I'm 99% sure it will be repeating this Friday. And if not, definitely next week.

It was pretty good! Definitely better than the other two or three episodes I've seen, though that might have been because I'm biased towards some of the actors. Man, I love JK Simmons. (Argh, that makes another reason to be pissed about not getting to see Spider-Man 2 until Saturday. *shakes fist at the SO*)

Eep! Sorry, yes, RecsRainbow is me. (I was having logging-in issues yesterday.) Whew! I'm glad it'll be repeated. And I agree: I'll probably like it more than the usual eps because of the actors.

Yay!
