Another Lost fic rec!

After the wonderful little fic this morning, I went off in search of more good Lost fanfic.

Differences between Lost and HP fandom:

1) There's a heck of a lot more Lost femmeslash than HP! I mean, a good quarter to a third of what I found was f/f! Coming from a HP background, that seemed very strange.

2) Poor Charlie seems to be the slut of the Lost fandom. :p Of all the m/m fics I found, */Charlie made up way more than half of them.

Sadly, there seems to be little Locke/Charlie stuff out there, which doesn't make much sense to me. Maybe more will show up soon?

I don't usually rec stories before I finish them, but this one I'm reading now is just amazing. In the Wild by mayatawi. Sawyer meets a real predator on the Island. It's rated R, but not graphic (in a sexually way) yet. Non-con in a most interesting way. It may be considered not work safe by some, but I wasn't worried about reading it in the office. (But again, I'm only halfway through it.)

Edit: I just finished it, and all I can say is "huh". The fic was amazing, Sawyer was dead on-character and perfect, but the ending... It didn't leave me satisfied, but that's petty Lost-like, isn't it? (I can't explain how I wasn't satisfied without spoiling it. It's not bad plot or some other bad thing along those lines... Oh, you'll just have to read it for yourself. It's totally worth it. :) ) I'm hunting down more of this author's fics for sure.

I totally agree. If I wrote Lost fanfic I think it would definately be Locke/Charlie. (seeing as they are my not so sooper sekrit otp). But yes, one hour until joygasm of watching and then to plot with my friends about obi locke kenobi and charlie hobbitses.
