Friday! Yay!
Nov. 19th, 2004 09:47 amTGIF! Made it to the weekend! Woo! Yay! It was a close call this week. :p
Work is still going better than I had expected, so that's good enough. I only lost a half-pound this week, but as I was expecting to gain, that's not so terrible. Sleep still sucks ass though.
Nightmares continue. Last night's was a really odd one. The FFXI world was real, and because I was tired and stressed, my teleport spells weren't working right. I tried to tele-Holla and ended up on the glacier! Eek! A dancing weapon aggroed me and kept hitting me so I couldn't make my warp spell work. But then I was "saved" because somehow the whole scene changed and I was at work! (Blech!) My boss was asking me all sorts of questions that I had no answer to, then a truck full of horses under a foot tall showed up, and my boss couldn't believe I hadn't known they made horses that small... (The one good part about the nightmare was having real people in the FFXI world. It was so cool that the "characters" had real expressions! Like when I arrived on the glacier, this farmer there kept shooting me puzzled/curious glances.)
Non-players: Dancing weapons are some of the most nasty/evil looking creatures. That's not a good picture, but you can probably get the idea from it.
Chia: I tried moving all the log files off the old computer this morning, but failed. Apparently, even when I move my modem's cable back to the old computer, it can't get online. *scratches head* I just don't understand that, as that used to be my main computer and when I got the new one, all I did was move the cable over... So then I tried saving the logs to disk, but even compressed it was like 6 megs! (500+ text files!) That computer has a CD drive, but I think it's read-only. I'm guessing I'll have to break the file into six smaller ones, then I can move them by disk to my new computer and upload them from there. (Assuming you want them? I didn't see a reply to my comment.)

Date: 2004-11-19 02:59 pm (UTC)Your logs are dirty? I never would have suspected for a moment. I am utterly aghast. Really.
