GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING!

What a peachy keen moring it is! This is a short week, I somehow lost 4 pounds since Friday (I swear, my body is attempting to mess with my mind), Naruto was a GREAT ep, and I have lots of fun stuff to do at home!

I have to find time to get to the grocery store this week, otherwise I will be eating frozen pizza for Thanksgiving. While that wouldn't be the end of the world, since I'm planning on cooking, I'd rather get that done. No, it probably wouldn't come out too well, but it'd still be keen to try!

Naruto continues to rock my socks. It's the current ep, so I won't spoil stuff, but I just LOVE what they're doing with Sasuke. I can only hope they won't go with some American-ish cop-out and make his change fake in the end. I'm going to pull my hair out over Sakura though.

Naruto: Hey, it's dangerous to walk around at nighttime. I'll go with you.

What Sakura should have said: Dude, I'm a ninja. I can handle a mugger or a stray dog myself.
What Sakura did say: Oh, the moon is full. There's plenty of light! I'll be okay.

Grrr! But I continue to boggle over just how amazingly good the Naruto music is.

I have a short day at work today, so I'm going to try to get a lot of Christmas shopping done (even though I hate shopping). I need to shop all the stuff across the country, so I need to be done in time to box it all up and send it off.

Oh, Neopet people: How hard is it to get a paintbrush? Some of them do such keen things! I don't have the money to buy one, but I sure would like to win/find one. How much should I be getting my hopes up that that will happen?

I haven't played Neopets in ages, but it seemed to me that paintbrushes were nigh impossible to get. During my time I managed to get at least five fairies (mostly through Dice-A-Roo, as I was addicted to that game in a sad way), but the only paintbrush I'd ever gotten was through enough people clicking on a link I'd placed to Neopets on a website.

Of course, now that you've reminded me of it I might go play a couple of rounds of Dice A Roo just for old times sake.

Paintbrush? HA HA HA HA HA!

I know Frank won one from... hrm. Something. But that was a matter of pure and impressive luck. The things are maddeningly expensive (at least for me, cuz I'm poor and pathetic and it took me, like, six friggin months or longer to get the lab ray). Not only that, though, but it's really hard to find a paintbrush that you actually want. (Though again, that depends. If you want the baby paintbrush it's easier to find than, say, the darigan one.)

Those paintbrushes are pretty impossible to win/find unless you buy them or someone gifts you with one. I used to get mine by helping people non gratis on the Help board.

It's sort of funny; I'd say I was helping them and didn't want anything for it, but they'd give me things in return anyway! ^^;

Wow, that's so cool! :) I see them on those various wheels I keep playing/spinning, so maybe one day I'll actually win one! (And I keep donating items to the tree, in hopes a higher luck "ranking" will help that.)

As I understand it, a paintbrush puts a costume onto your pet. Perhaps they can just change the color as well, but all the ones I saw did much cooler things than that: Made a Halloween theme or gave wings or made it look all glow-y or things like that.
