My page-of-the-day Lord of the Rings calender had a surprise for me today: At first glance, I thought Snape was in the picture. At second glance, I thought it was an undead Snape. ("Eh, there was a zombie Snape in LotR? WTF?") When I took a longer look I saw how much heavier this guy's brow-ridges are. Same hair though, big-ish nose, sallow skin. Whoever he's with (some king? Looks like he has a small crown on) looks undead as well. White skin (almost greenish), white hair/beard, and his eyes are mostly white as well. Yo calender: Let's go back to the hot guys, okay? Or at least the pretty landscapes?
Next year I might do this on purpose: buy a calendar for some movie I know nothing about. It's rather interesting and fun to wonder who these odd people are!
As usual this week: So very tired. As usual this week: Waking up in tons of pain. (What the heck am I fighting at night? Why do my back and various limbs hurt so much when I wake up?) As usual this week: Been grinding my teeth at night. Arg! Months ago I broke that habit, now it's restarting! It's so annoying, because it makes me have a headache and tooth pain through the whole day. Stop it! Grrr!

FFXI: So tired. So very tired. I'll be happy to get the last Prom done tomorrow, if only to get my Friday nights back! And storage space on my mules, too.
I'm so unprepared this week: I still need to get to Jeuno to make the last anima, plus need to re-buy my scythe! Can't believe I sold it by mistake. I hope the same one is still available, as it's the best level 30 one around. Need to spend tonight mostly getting ready for tomorrow. Xal's sniper ring synth is tonight, too.
After much searching in Jugner, I finally found a tiger there. While it didn't kill me, the lag almost did. (I couldn't get my WS or any spells to fire off.) Jugner and West Ron are almost impossible for me to play in -- I lag so much and the video jerks so badly it actually makes me motion sick! By the time I found the tiger last night, all I wanted to do was to leave the zone so I wouldn't throw up on my keyboard. (It can't be tree-related, since I'm fine in East Ron. This has been like it from Day One: One of my first questions to my old LS was why West Ron was so much more laggy than anywhere else in the game.)
Went and farmed for a while in Carpenter's Landing for a while last night. Love it lots there! Will go back farming more in the future.
Hm, fish. I checked what my count was this morning, but I've forgotten it now. 2,730? Well under 3K, whatever it was. The fishing sucked last night, so after three hours (and about five stacks) I left to do other things.
I decided I'm going to go back to gardening, but only for fun. I'm going to farm my own seeds and feed them random crystals whenever they want them. No stress. If they die because I forget to check them, no big deal. If it becomes something I worry about, the pots are (again) getting sold right away.
I knew they were going to do it, but it still annoyed the hell out of me. Why did they make Val-whatever a girl at the end of the story? The story would have been so heart-warming if it had really been the boy who loved the other guy! Loved him from afar, sent him the gift and the card. Stupid players who got all homophobic about that could just jump in the lake. Love is love! Who the hell has the right to say who can love someone else! But noooo, the guy had to be a girl in the end to make the love "okay". Grrrr.
I wish I would live long enough to see the acceptance of all kinds of love, but I'll probably die with us still living in the stone age. Makes me very very sad.
...but the gift is a pretty nice thing. Just hope I get the type I can use.
