New record!
Feb. 22nd, 2005 02:58 pm300 new flist LJ posts this morning. 6 hours and 40 minutes later: Finally done reading. I really need to make an effort to keep up with LJ over the weekend. (Or cut back on my flist, which I hate to do.)
Very belatedly, this morning I tried to download all the Naruto eps I'm missing. I got 121 and 122, but for some reason 120 is offline and I couldn't find a copy of it anywhere (other than from that one sucky group, Dy-something). So sad, so sad. Do we know yet which groups will keep subbing it?
I need to see if I'm behind in downloading Samurai Champloo. I'm surprised it's not licensed yet.

FFXI: Eco tonight. I have no plans other than that, which is fine as Eco takes up half the night and I usually don't want to deal with stuff after it. Maybe I'll fish some, it's just too bad I'm missing the great new moon (stupid work). I could fish for skill I guess, since I can't use my (almost gotten) LSR for that... Speaking of which, moat carp remain steady at 6K in Sandy this afternoon. Bah.
I really should farm after Eco, I guess. I need to build my money back up. (Before the LSR quest I had 2.7 million. Right now I have about 700K on Thistle and about 300K spread across the mules.) Now that I can use my crossbow, farming is a little easier because I can tag mobs fast (try beating someone out when using a scythe!), but I just hate fighting with people for mobs. The stealing and rudeness is just so unpleasant, I'd rather leave the area and go somewhere else.
Speaking of which (sort of), I did something new yesterday: I helped a newbie. Yeah, when I first got into the game I liked to help everyone, but that was quickly burnt out of me. I was farming in the far end of Bubu and this little WHM came along and tossed a cure on me. He lurked around a few minutes, then asked if I could show him the way out. (Poor fellow was on the totally wrong end of the zone! I felt bad since he obviously got as lost as I do!) So I lead him out. He was low level and aggroed everything, so we dodged what we could and I killed everything else. It was nice to be able to help someone, even if his typing made my eyes bleed. ("plz" saves three letters over "please"! Three letters! Is that really so much effort?)

Date: 2005-02-25 11:05 pm (UTC)Just connect to the IP, port 21 (which is the default port), and go into the directory "naruto". There should be a lot of episodes there because I'm out of DVDs and can't burn them off yet.
