Yay Friday! ...and bah, I suck. I had a cute little screenshot to post today, but after editing and saving it I forgot to upload it. Sheesh.

Nothing big to report. FFXI was boring as hell last night. I had nothing at all to do, so I did "busywork". Finished opening PLD (yay? Last job I needed to open). I had to sneak/invisible through Davoi to do that, which caused a rather strong reaction (my hands and arms were shaking so badly I couldn't hardly hit my macros! I mean c'mon, anyone can sneak/invisble through a zone! It's not that big of a deal!). Every time I saw a lizard I had to double and triple check that it was just a war lizard. :P Stupid things!

After that I decided to try chocobo digging again. I hadn't been digging in a week because people are annoying. (The more people who dig, the less worth it is for you to do so. Two people digging in a zone means you're unlikely to get anything good, three or more people and it's not worth digging. There are usually multiple people digging in a zone at any one time. I swear, the number of people who dig doubles every day!) I spent about 100K on greens and got only one gold beastcoin (20K) and two elm logs (10K each). So yay, I spent 70K to be annoyed and waste my time.

Tonight is THF static. I'm not very excited over it, but at least it's something to do. Sunday is main job static, which at least is better.

Sunday static people: Xal let me know that she'll stay with the static "for as long as her girlfriend allows". So, um, right. I've not heard back from Waru about his job levels yet (he's in the hospital). I told Xal to let me know ASAP if she intends to drop out.

Davoi's section of the PLD quest is really super easy... *IF* you go along the river. I didn't know you were doing it, or I would have told you about that. You just cross the first open area, drop down off a bridge, then make 80 percent of the trip with sneak only, and loads of room for recasting. I soloed it as a 30 whm without any trouble at all. u.u

And yeah, Xal's young and thinking we are fooled with his bullshit. 9.9; We should ask if anyone wants to replace Xal and make sure we have a replacement before he gets the itch to truly leave.

Yeah, luckily I found a map with that route marked. The guide said you still needed both sneak and invisible because orcs could aggro you from the cliffs. I saw no orcs at all, but kept both up just to be safe.

Yes. I'd really, really like to get Waru in, if his levels would fit. Ceh suggested that he might catch his NIN up with us (if his THF is too high), then he could pull/DD (and maybe co-tank) with that. That would rock.

Third excuse, yes. :P But the way I see it, if she holds off leaving a couple more weeks, at least maybe we can get things lined up with Waru or someone else by then...

Oh heck, we don't! Work is eating me, and I hadn't even remembered that we needed a 6th. If you want to come, then sure! Just be in Rabao as close to 5 PST as possible. (Chip is usually a little late, but we head out as close to 5 as we can.)

My DRK is currently stuck in Rabao with @1700 to 32, but a) I might get a party in the next hour and b) Beanie offered first so she gets priority! ;3 I wouldn't wait to level DRK tho so it would be a one-shot deal, whereas other people could stick and stay. ;3

As for your sunday static, wish I had a 56 job, but my next highest after DRG is WHM at 38 @_@

You accepted the spot last week, then decided to level DRK instead, so I wasn't holding a spot for you this time. :) No worries!

There isn't much more to stick around for, really. I'm likely dropping out next week, and the group is breaking up soon after.

Nah, no problem. It's a position that needs to pull, and you dropped out of one of our statics before for that reason (you didn't want to pull for two statics). Thanks anyway though! (Hmmm, I think it was this same Friday static. You took THF Nimbex's spot, then dropped right away and we filled it with someone else...)

I sent you an IM about this in game, and I'm terribly sorry, but I got called into work 5pm to 8pm tonight --;;;;;; (Won't go into the aggrivation of "I have plans" and "Well, you're the only one around and a shop that closes it's doors because no one is around doesn't make money.") So, I'm at work tonight. My character is still hugging the teleport crystal [sigh] I'm sorry. I asked Ni about taking the spot since her BLM was of the right level, but she says she can't do it tonight. If Auri still hasn't found a party, that might work out still... Else a random DD is going to get very lucky tonight and end up with a kickass party :)
