Hm. Where in the world did that "Two great tastes that taste great together!" come from? Seems like I've known it forever, but I can't recall where I heard it...

I don't give you this link to a story about a man who was killed while having sex with a horse so that you can snicker about it (but you're free to snicker if you like!), it's because this paragraph made me raise my eyebrows:

I'm having a hard time picturing this debate happening. Could you imagine some legislative session going on, a bunch of old white men sitting around in a room. The Humane Society arrives and argues against it, and one of those men stands up and argues for it? Even if you do it under the guise of "freedom" or something... I mean man. That couldn't make you too popular when reelection time comes rolling around!

Aurian, here's the "organ PLD" we were talking about last night:






Summerfest started in FFXI yesterday! That means new music and fireworks at night! The first event isn't so great (goldfish scooping, which we also did last year), but maybe the next one will be better. From what I've read it won't be, but hey! Maybe it will be!

Here's a picture of my NPC friend: Gunnar! He's the one I stood on lines to do quests for. I've not given him a real, proper test drive yet (oh baby?). I want to try using him when I'm in a >30 job and see how the XP goes. The first day I tested him out while farming, and the second I just let him stand around and look pretty while I scooped goldfish.

Oh, THAT guy. (Bosiont) He cut the line in Ghelsba and caused a big commotion. Couldn't even get in to do the quest because he skipped a step. >.>

Heh, that doesn't surprise me. I do not believe that I have ever met a player more stupid than him. I don't just mean how horrible his typing is, either. He just made no sense. I don't recall the exact details of it, but he left our party early so that he could find some other party to get his level with so they'd be more likely to help him with his G1 (or G2?) fights. Horrible, horrible PLD, too. Used every trick in his hate-keeping book and all his MP at the start of the fight, then as the fight went on had nothing to keep hate with...

The only good thing about him was just how bad his typing was. We were rolling and rolling on LS over it.

I'm making this comment simply because I think it's odd that in a post all about bestiality, other people found the FFXI stuff... more noteable? ;)

That is a pretty interesting topic, and it's one of those things where it's difficult to distinguish things. Yeah, it's behind closed doors, and using ration it's probably not "abuse", but it can be difficult to justify in your head "Hey, bestiality's just a life-style choice, it's perfectly acceptable! Whatever you want to do, go for it!"

I personally don't have a problem with it, but unlike gay marriage, I can really see where people do with this one. ;)

To be rational and unemotional about it, it's no more abuse than riding a horse is... and a whole lot less abuse than killing a cow to eat it. But, you know, people are rarely rational and unemotional. :P Me included, of course!

Isn't he? He's lots of fun, but these NPC friends would be tons better if they lasted longer. (They'll only stay out for a max of 15 fights or some short time period, like 30 minutes or so.)

I am just too curious about how exactly the man died...Did the horse kick him? (go horse!) ...Or disease...or...err...I can't even think of how else, but I'm sure there's a way.
