Cat Update
Dec. 16th, 2002 07:32 pmFor people who care about da feline:
She got her ultrasound today. The walls of her heart are thickening. It's at a "moderate" stage (mild-moderate-severe scale). She's gonna go back and get another ultrasound in six months.
A somewhat bigger problem is that her new lump is getting bigger. She took a biopsy to send to the lab. (The bad thing about the lump is that it's in the same place that her cancer was.)
Poor kitty, life has been hard for her. She's used lots of lives already (she ate string once and lost a couple feet of innards, she had panluk (a usually deadly illness), she had a bad reaction to *catnip* and almost died...). However long she stays around (hopefully years and years still) I'm gonna make her as happy as I can.

Date: 2002-12-17 09:50 am (UTC)I really, really, really want another cat, but am forcing myself not to. My cat doesn't get vaccinated anymore (since that's what caused her cancer), and she and I have been living alone together for 10 years now. I think another cat would make her climb walls.
