Help me! Please! Who the heck is Muller? (Fic post? TV? RL? You tell me!)

I've been tearing my hair out for more than a day now, trying to figure out who this person is.

Muller. Male. Very large (tall, muscular), sort of a "wall of a man" type -- big and broad shoulders. For some reason I'm seeing him in a grey uniform (sort of Nazi-ish?). Wears a uniform with a hat. German or European, I'm pretty sure?

I thought at first he had to be someone from msmanna's Admin fics, but while she does have a Muller in them (first story), he has almost no description and only one spoken line.

I thought he might be from Fullmetal Alchemist (when do I encounter things that are Nazi-ish? Other than FMA?) but I couldn't find the name connected with that.

I'm certain he's not someone I RPed, so hopefully he's from a source that other people would know. But more than that I can't figure out. Is he from a TV show? Movie? Book? I can't remember! And it's driving me crazy!

Uh. Not a terrible amount of information to go on--for example, you have a picture of him, but is it art? Described? Film'ish? But, the worded description puts me in mind of a comic character that my friend bonniebluebitch is enamored of, and has at least one user icon of. I don't know who the author is, outside that she is popular in some circles. I also don't know if his name is Muller or not.

That's the problem, I'm not really sure... I really want to say animation (anime to be exact), but I suspect my mind has crossed whoever this Muller is with someone in an anime series...

Heinrich Müller was an SS General and head of the Gestapo, but he wasn't all that built, if I recall. Thing is, Müller isn't all that uncommon as a German last name, so this source could be anything. My heart goes out to you; these kind of things torment me from time to time as well.

That the name is so common is a big problem, since Googling brings up so many real people. Silly Google, not being able to read my mind!

Good guess, but I've not seen more than an ep or two of that, long long ago. I did actually mean to watch the series, but never got around to it. :/

Last Exile is fun. It has airships! Lots of airships!
